Protect the land, lakes, waterways and people of Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast from pollution caused by the Vales Point and Eraring coal-fired power stations and coal-ash waste.

We’re building a network of community members who live with and are affected by coal power stations and the pollution from them. This includes workers whose livelihoods are entwined in the inevitable transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy.

Participants and members in the Protect Our Coast Alliance have a vested interest in the health of our marine ecosystems and our beautiful coastal waters. We have come together in response to the risks of seismic testing and industrial offshore gas and oil projects in the coastal region between Sydney and Port Stephens on the Mid-North Coast of NSW.

A collaboration of Hunter school students actively working on climate action initiatives, including strikes and protests. Students meet at the Hunter Community Environment Centre to plan and share resources.
